We hope that you've found the information you need in our website.  If not, here are some of the other issues and questions that crop up from time to time.  Either way, we still like to hear from you, so do please get in touch.

Alcohol ~ bringing it on Board:  Under the Licensing Act 2003, we cannot allow alcohol to be brought on board.  Only drinks purchased on board may be consumed on board.  Champagne, sparkling wines and other 'specials' can be provided at very reasonable cost but must be pre-ordered.  Please ask for details.

Children:  Small children are welcome to stand on the seats to see better but please remove outdoor footwear.

Decorating the boat: Lots of people do.  You are welcome to come aboard early and get ready for your guests.

Dogs: Are welcome if clean and dry but please keep them off the seats.  ('Assistance Dogs' always welcome).

Entertainers:  No problem.  Whether for children or adults, we can pick them up en-route or they can come on board with you.

Funerals: We can host wakes and receptions and we do scatter ashes.

Marriage / Civil Partnership Ceremonies:  Sorry, we can't marry you on board just yet, but this may change.  Please contact us for more details.  Meanwhile, you could have your reception on board ~ even a blessing or a Captain's Ceremony.

Music ~ bringing our own:  You are welcome to bring your own CDs or mp3s or to select from our small on-board library.  With notice we can have your own personalised mp3 playlist ready and waiting.  Please discuss options with us.

Music ~ live:  By all means, we love live music ~ though we do have limited space and electrical power.

Photographs:  We will happily take 'snaps' of your group with your own cameras or by prior arrangement with our own.  We can recommend professional photographers too.  (Do send us a snap for our display, won't you!)

Smokers:  The boat is fully NON-SMOKING but there are several places where we can stop if necessary Smoking is permitted on the small rear Captain's Deck which can accommodate up to 4 people at a time.

Speed:  Typical cruising speed is around 4 miles per hour.

Start and finish points: Our home moorings are at the Key Theatre Embankment, but we are happy to start or finish your charter at other points.  A small supplement applies for time 'running empty' to and from your start point.

Steps:  There are 2 external steps up and then 5 down into the boat, all with handrails.  We do our upmost to assist passengers with mobility problems, so please call to discuss any concerns.  Regrettably, the boat is not wheelchair accessible.

Uses allowed:  If it's legal, you can do most things on board!

Wine for Toasts:  We can supply Champagne and Sparkling Wine for special occasions at reasonable prices, including use of our champagne flutes.  Please ask for details.
